Island Impact: Service Leadership in the Dominican Republic Trip

My son, Caden Elliott, has been accepted to the Global Immersion Program at the The Hun School of Princeton. The middle school service trip promises to be a fantastic opportunity for personal growth, cultural exploration, and the forging of lifelong friendships. This incredible seven-day adventure in the Dominican Republic is a blend of service work, leadership development, and activities designed to experience the culture and lifestyle firsthand. Selected students will explore Los Haitises National Park, the largest freshwater lake in the Caribbean, and participate in chocolate and coffee-making workshops. We will immerse ourselves in the local culture by practicing Spanish, learning about local ecology, and mastering the Merengue and Salsa dance.
