Mom of 6. Mimi to 2. Wife. Nurse for 22 yrs. Just a few titles I have lol. My family is my world. My husband has carried the family financially for few weeks since I got laid off. A nurse being laid off yes it happens more than you know. I have a job lined up. Never been the one to ask for help. I'm the one always giving. Just this yr alone I've had one surgery (54,000) insurance left 32k my husband had 2.(20k) Insurance covered one and all but 5k of other. Future knee replacements for me as well. I'm working to losse weight trying to push off surgery as long as I can. Husband car engine had to be replaced in Aug my car transmission went out in November. Had it fixed went out again in February. (Under warranty) But labor wasn't. So we had to buy a car.
Really would like to take kids on vacation but probably won't happen. Thinking small day trips or something now. Just a tough patch that a little gift would make things go a little easier . I appreciate you taken the time to read my story.
