I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. A dear friend of mine Sheila someone who’s given her whole life to helping others — now needs our help.
Her name is Sheila, and she’s a dedicated nurse, a loving single mom of three beautiful kids, and one of the kindest, strongest people I’ve ever known. She’s spent her career comforting patients, holding hands through hard times, and saving lives… but now, she’s facing the fight of her own.
Recently, Sheila was diagnosed with colon cancer. It’s the kind of news that shakes you to your core, but true to her spirit, she’s meeting it with courage, grace, and that warm smile she always wears — even on her hardest days.
But as a single mother, the emotional weight is only part of it. The financial burden is growing fast — between treatments, missed work, and caring for her kids — and that’s where we come in.
