For more than 20 years, Pilates has been more than a career for me—it has been a way to help people feel stronger, move with greater confidence, and reconnect with their bodies. I am deeply honored to have been accepted into the Polestar Pilates Transition/Bridge Program, an opportunity that will allow me to continue growing as an instructor, mentor, and educator.
I am incredibly grateful for the meaningful connections I have made through Pilates. I care deeply about my clients, students, and fellow teachers, and I feel privileged to work alongside so many wonderful and inspiring professionals.
This advanced training will deepen my understanding of movement assessment, thoughtful sequencing, and individualized programming. It will also help prepare me for the National Pilates Certification Program exam. Most importantly, what I learn will be shared with the instructors I mentor, the future teachers I train, and the clients and community I am so fortunate to serve.
My path to continuing education has not always been easy. As a single mother, I spent many years raising my two sons while balancing work, household responsibilities, and financial challenges. Shortly after my divorce, I unexpectedly lost both of my parents in a car accident. Without their support, I continued doing everything I could to care for my sons, provide for my family, and keep moving forward.
Although I dreamed of furthering my education, it was not financially possible for many years. I have worked hard to build my career one training, one client, and one opportunity at a time. That journey has made this next step especially meaningful to me.
I am seeking to raise $3,300 to cover the tuition for this program. This amount is for tuition only and does not include textbooks, travel, lodging, or other related expenses, which I will be responsible for separately.
Putting this request into the world makes me feel vulnerable. Asking for financial help is not easy for me, but I believe deeply in this opportunity and in the positive impact it will have on the people I teach and mentor. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will bring me closer to completing this training.
I am humbled and deeply appreciative of every person who has encouraged me, learned with me, trusted me, or supported my journey. Thank you for believing in me and helping me take this important next step.
