Please help us fight for Wendy. 🐾❤️
Wendy is only 1 year & 4 months old, and over the past few weeks, my happy, playful girl has become incredibly sick. She stopped playing, started hiding & sleeping constantly, and eventually stopped eating normally.
After multiple emergency & primary vet visits, X-rays, an ultrasound, bloodwork, and thousands of dollars in vet bills, we are now facing what is most likely advanced FIP (feline infectious peritonitis).
Yesterday, I found out that the fluid around her lungs had gotten worse. She had to be sedated, and nearly 16 mL of fluid was removed from around her lungs. She has been through so much—she is exhausted, scared, and absolutely over being poked and prodded. 😭
We started FIP treatment on Monday (8/3/26), but we don’t know yet if it will work. I am scared, but I’m not giving up on her. We are holding onto every bit of hope that these medications will kick in & give my baby the chance to feel like herself again.
The vet bills are adding up incredibly quickly, and I know everyone is struggling financially. Asking for help is not easy, but I want to give Wendy every chance I possibly can.
