As some of you may already know, Kayla [Scull] Daniel passed away at just 27 years old after fighting a courageous battle against Leukemia. She was truly one of the best people we’ve ever known— so kind, so genuine, and someone who gave so much love to everyone around her. Saying she touched so many lives is an understatement.. not only as a mother, but also through her years as a dental assistant, where so many people got to experience her warmth and care.
The most heartbreaking part is that she leaves behind her baby boy, Quincy, who hasn’t even reached his first birthday yet.
Kayla loved being a mom and loved him more than anything in this world. She fought so hard to be here with him. Everything she did, she did with him in her heart.
Due to this, Kayla’s NHTI Dental Assisting Class of 2019 has come together to create a Spotfund in her honor. Every single donation will go towards an education fund for her son. All funds donated will eventually be transferred to a 529 education fund— so that he can have the future Kayla would have worked so hard to give him.
We are asking our friends, family and especially those in the dental community who knew and worked alongside her, to come together during this time. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in her son’s life.
We can’t take away this loss, but we can come together and make sure her son is taken care of in the ways she would have wanted. This is our way of showing that her love doesn’t end here and continues through the future of her son.
Thank you for loving Kayla with us 💛
