With the increasing number of pets being surrendered by owners who can’t afford to keep, care or feed them due to layoffs and foreclosures, I have made it my mission to make a difference in this heartbreaking situation.
My plan is to open a free/low cost cat boarding program for families enduring hardship. Temporary housing for felines who wish to keep their pet but just need a temporary housing for them til they get back on their feet.
The price for boarding at a facility is most often not an option due to pricing and availability, leading to families having no choice but to surrender their fur baby to a rescue or shelter. We have all gone through hard times and my goal is to be the place to bridge the gap between hard times and heartbreak.
Please help me with the funding to purchase kitty condos for my home and to get the word out by providing a pet food pantry for all pets in need. My hope is to have a pantry or food bank drive every 2nd weekend where the community friends and my mission of fur paws fellowship come together and help make a difference to keep furry families together.
I have space in my home to house up to 25-30 cats at one time. I just need the funding to purchase the cozy cat condos and get the word out. I live in between two churches who have monthly food banks for humans and with their help I plan to align my pet food drive with theirs. I will be hosting the drive and provide my temporary housing information for the community to know I am here if they need help.
I am still working out the details on funding the business but my goal is to charge on a sliding scale and/or by fundraising events. I will be sole owner and responsible for operating the business entirely. However, I need your help to get it all started. Even if I have to just start by helping one feline family at a time. With your support I can start helping as soon as the beginning of 2026.

Coming soon.. large outdoor catio converted from my sunroom. This is the second stage I am planning to build once I have the inside kitty housing completed. Hoping to have a gifting drive or fundraiser to build a kitty play area for the temporary feline residents to play and stretch and to provide a space where the owners can come to visit/play with their kitty til they are ready to take them back home.

I was given this mission vision by God on Christmas morning and by trust and faith I have dedicated my time 100% into making this mission not only happen through me but to make it be the starting place in making a difference throughout the country. Rescues and Shelters don’t provide a temporary shelter option so to make that an option I will make it my mission to keep families and felines together by faith one hand to paw at a time.
