Hello Family & Friends that are family!
My travel team, Alpharetta '07 Fire just ended our last fall season tournament with a 1st place trophy and have qualified to play in the USSSA National Championships in Florida next July 2021! I know that might sound like a long ways away and our team will be doing fundraising as well (I won't hit you up for that also!) but reservations are filling up quickly and we need to reserve accommodations with our team in the next couple weeks so I am asking for your help if you are able. And I'm not gonna lie, it's gonna look like a beach vacation because we WILL be at the beach and having FUN with our families too, but we will also be working our butts off anytime we are on the softball field! So if you could please donate $10 or $5 or whatever's in your heart, that would be AMAZING!!! Thank you for helping me go to my first National Championship!!

Words from our head coach after our last tournament: "In each games there were moments of adversity, but every time, our girls overcame the challenges. Once again, I am so proud of this team and all they have accomplished in a very short time.
As a result of our victory yesterday, our team has now qualified to be entered into the USSSA post season tournaments including the National championships in Destin / Fort Walton Beach Florida the week of July 18th. So I have now officially entered us to play in the tournament. It will be a week long tournament with events running from Sunday July 18th - Saturday July 24th.
As I said to most of you yesterday, coming into the season, I was unsure of how this team would compete at this level considering our young age and lack of experience. But after the last few weeks, it is clear that this team is ahead of schedule and can absolutely compete with good quality teams. So, I am recommending this trip as a way to provide the players with the opportunity to play teams from all over the country and to continue to strengthen the bond they already share."
