In Feb 2015 I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease that I had all Life and didn’t know about it.I struggled to have the right medications but with multiple bloodwork trips and the right cocktail,I got better. At times I get so weak that I’m wheelchair bound and need assistance even bathing myself.
On Dec 18 2025 at 10am while I was on Park Ave in S Minneapolis on my way to my doctor appointment,I was stuck in the chaos of a road stoppage by ICE.I was dragged out of my car,slammed to the dirty ground by my face in cold weather and a foot put on my chest.I yelled to know what was going on and I was shoved into a van with no jacket,tears running down my face ,dazed and confused.
ICE Agents demanded to see my paperwork but because I didn’t know I needed to carry my green card ,I was abducted in a van with 4 other people and taken to a detention center up north.While in detention,i was abused ,starved,deprived of my medical needs and deteriorated in the horrid conditions I was living under.I lost mobility in my hands and legs at some point due to swelling and pain from sickness.
I was dropped by a van in the middle of nowhere days ago.My health is so poor that I need a restart on my meds and regain my strength to work and recover.I missed Christmas,New year and came back to multiple and accumulated bills that I can’t even afford.Im desperate for a new start!
was already struggling with my health,had limited hrs at work due to weak immune system ,swelling,mounting medical bills ,behind in utilities for months since my diagnosis ,behind in rent and my landlord could not honor a clean release from my lease despite a doctors note(below)
Mine is a story that is never told because no one was there to record.But the wounds and scars are visible inside and outside.Im trying to rebuild my life.Im kindly asking for help to recover.I attached my utility bills for those who would rather pay directly to the utility companies.The water bill and Xcel are my main concerns and covering the months I’m behind with rent.
any help you can give me will ensure recovery and restart after the setback I suffered with ICE in Minneapolis.
