A female founded theater company, the Local Classic Repertory uses the Mighty Networks platform to give audiences a "local" feel of a community theater going experience with a global audience, whose members directly champion the creation of diverse and inclusive theatrical work.

Navigates the rapidly changing parameters around what theatre is by utilizing modern technology to make live theater accessible to our audience regardless of geography, physical health, or any other external factor, acknowledging that now more than ever, we as humans need the connection and the cathartic experience that only theater can provide.

Produces theatrical works by modern-day writers that not only entertain, but both challenge and comfort audiences, offering enriching cultural experiences and supporting the continual creation of art that both reflects and impacts society as a whole incrementally, each production at a time.
This funding will go toward bringing new artistic works by BIPOC and other underrepresented playwrights and composers to commercial venues: being fully staged works or appropriately funded film or television ventures.
