Help Reunite Lily With Her Mother
My name is Christina, and I am raising funds to help my sister, Jacklyn, reunite with her daughter, Lily.
Over the past six months, our entire family has been going through something we never imagined possible. My niece Lily has been separated from her mother, and the emotional toll it has taken on both of them — and on everyone who loves them — has been heartbreaking.
Anyone who truly knows my sister knows what an incredible mother she is. I have always looked up to her parenting and the way she raises her children with patience, love, and structure. With her being such a great mother and Lily having everything she should and more, I am completely baffled on how this is possible. Watching both of them endure this separation has been absolutely devastating.
I asked Jacklyn to explain the situation in her own words, this is what she shared:
My name is Jacklyn, and I’m asking for help in the most important fight of my life — bringing my daughter, Lily, back home.
From the day Lily was born until she was six years old, she lived primarily with me in a stable, structured, and loving home. My education is in social behavior and child development, and raising my daughter was always my highest priority. Our daily life was built around learning, routines, emotional support, and helping her grow into a confident and happy child.
She was thriving.
Then, through a complicated custody process, Lily was suddenly removed from the home she had known her entire life. There were no findings of abuse, neglect, or harm toward my daughter. Yet the result has been that I am now limited to supervised visits with the child who has always been deeply bonded to me. To make matters even more difficult, I have to pay $50 an hour to visit Lily which makes seeing each other even more limited and financially demanding.
The separation has been incredibly painful for both of us. Anyone who has witnessed the bond between a mother and child knows how devastating it is to watch that relationship restricted.
What makes this even harder is that custody battles are not only emotionally exhausting — they are extremely expensive. Legal representation, court filings, expert consultations, and evaluations can cost thousands of dollars.
Right now, the biggest obstacle standing between me and the ability to fully advocate for my daughter is simply the financial resources required to continue fighting in court.
The funds raised will help cover:
• Attorney and legal representation
• Court filings and legal motions
• Professional evaluations and case-related services
• Transportation and other legal expenses
Every dollar raised will go directly toward the legal costs required to continue pursuing reunification and protecting my relationship with my daughter.
For the first six years of her life, Lily and I built a home filled with stability, learning, and love. My only goal is the opportunity to restore that stability and continue being the parent she knows and trusts.
If you are able to donate, share this campaign, or keep our family in your thoughts and prayers, it would mean more than words can express.
Thank you for supporting a mother’s fight to reunite with her child.
