Hello, my name is Trinity Schiess. I am making this for my sister in law, her husband and her sons.
Today November 25th 2023, Shilo her husband Jase and two sons Rowyn and Deklynd, were in a tragic accident.
Around 10am Shilo was driving to go to the store and because of snowy and icy road conditions they were not able to stop before getting hit by a train.
The train hit the car on the back passenger side where her son Deklynd was sitting, because of this he has passed away from injuries.
Their son Rowyn was driven to Denver Children's Hospital, suffering a cracked vertebrae and small bleeding to his brain.
Jase and Shilo were admitted over night at another hospital, they are both very store, they have oxygen around their lungs and bruised lungs. Shilo has a tear on her liver and is on mandatory bed rest for the next 24 hours.
Because of their injuries it will be awhile until either of them are able to go back to work. Anything helps to support them and their kids. Please Pray for them.
Baby Rowyn (2 yrs) is in the intensive care unit. Doctors are encouraged - the biggest physical concern is the cracked vertebrae in his neck. They are doing an MRI to decide if it can heal itself under the collar or if they need to do surgery. We pray it can heal on its own. They have not observed any seizure activity in his brain wave patterns and his mental clarity is good. They have also said they believe the brain bleeds have healed.
