Let’s Pull Together for Danielle & Her Dog, Michael Scott 🐾
If you know Danielle, you know the love she has for her dog, Michael Scott.
Mikey* (Michael Scott) recently faced a terrifying health crisis. After an episode of gastritis, he developed aspiration pneumonia that quickly led to severe sepsis. He spent over a week in the ICU at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital, fighting for his life. The first few days were very touch and go, but we are happy and ecstatic to report that Mikey* is improving and is expected to make a full recovery.
When Danielle talks about Michael Scott, her love and vulnerability shine through. She got him during the difficult days of Covid, when so many of us felt isolated and afraid. He was her constant companion, her reason to smile, and often the one she credits with helping her get through those times. Their bond is unshakable.
When faced with the impossible choice of whether to give Mikey the intensive care he needed, Danielle never hesitated. She chose to give him the best chance to survive—because that’s who she is. She puts love first, without a second thought.
As Danielle’s friend, I know she would never ask for help herself. That’s why I’m asking for her. The financial toll of weeks in ICU care is overwhelming, and if we can all pull together, we can help ease that burden. Our goal is to raise $30,000 to help cover the cost of Mikey’s life-saving treatment.

She’ll probably kill me for doing this, but I believe she deserves the same unconditional support and care she’s always given and gives to others.
