Rio is a 5 year old Papillon. Until 2 weeks ago he lived happily with his Mom and fur brother, Diablo. I suspect they knew Sue was sick and dying and they were all there for each other but 2 weeks ago after a long struggle with Cancer Sue passed away and a team of Papillon lovers here in Ohio, Piper's Pap Posse Sprung into action to save the boys from being taken to a shelter.  We spent $3000+ to go from Ohio to California to retrieve them. At first both were doing fine in their foster home here but Rio stopped eating and started to exhibit severe illness.  After a trip to the emergency room and a vet it was found he is now in kidney failure.  At the moment he is hospitalized. Our members have been meeting the financial burden of their rescue and his health needs. Any money raised will be used to reimburse the funds we have dug deep to come up with after first meeting his current hospital bills.  Please help us help Rio.
