My name is Destiny and I am a young mother of two beautiful girls ages 7 and 9. I am reaching out because I have finally done the hardest and bravest thing I have ever done in my life  I escaped a domestically abusive relationship and I am rebuilding from the ground up. And right now I need a little help from the world to keep everything from falling apart right before it all comes together.
Let me tell you where I am.
I moved to Arizona a year ago with someone I believed in. I left everything and everyone I loved   my family, my friends, my entire support system  all of them thousands of miles away across the country. I gave that relationship everything I had. What I got in return was manipulation, gaslighting, chaos, and pain that I hid behind a smile every single day. I hid bruises. I cried in silence. I kept going for my girls because they were and will always be my reason for everything.
But last week I finally got us out. 🙏🏽
I packed up me and my girlies and I moved to Maricopa. I found us a new home. I enrolled my daughters in a new school that has already welcomed them with open arms. And in the middle of all of that I went on interviews and I just landed a job as a Medical Service Coordinator that begins on March 16th. I am leveling up. God has been faithful and I am proof that you can lose almost everything and still rise. 🌸
But here is where I need your help.
Every single dollar I had went into escaping, securing our home, and getting my girls settled. In the process I fell behind on my car payment and I am now at serious risk of losing my vehicle before my first paycheck even arrives. My car is not a luxury — it is how I get my daughters to school every morning and how I get myself to work starting the 16th. Without it everything I have sacrificed and fought for falls apart in an instant.
I am not someone who asks for help easily. I am a hard worker. I am determined. I have always pushed through and figured it out on my own. But I am learning that asking for help when you truly need it is not weakness  it is wisdom. And right now I truly need it.
Here is what I am raising funds for:
Car payment  -To bring my account current and protect my vehicle so I can get to work and get my girls to school approximately $400-$500
Rebuilding our home  We left with very little. We are sleeping and living in a space that is still being built from nothing. Any additional funds will go toward basic furniture, bed frames, kitchen essentials, food, and the everyday things that make a house a home for two little girls who deserve stability and peace  approximately $500-$1,000
Every single dollar donated goes directly to keeping a roof over our heads, food in our refrigerator, and a mother behind the wheel getting her babies where they need to go.
I start my job on March 16th. I am almost there. I just need a bridge.
If you can give $5, $10, $25 or whatever your heart leads you to  it will mean the world to me and my girls.
To anyone who has ever escaped something that was breaking them, to anyone who has ever had to start over from nothing, to anyone who has ever had to be strong when they had nothing left  this one is for you too. 🤍
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are almost there. 🙏🏽
