Our family is incredibly grateful to be sharing this story with you today.
Recently, my 19-year-old son, Alex, was involved in a serious rollover car accident that left his vehicle completely totaled. By what feels like nothing short of a miracle, Alex walked away physically okay. While we are thankful beyond words that his life was spared, he now faces an unexpected challenge: losing the vehicle he depended on every day.
Alex is a full-time college student who works and picks up extra shifts during his summer break. He is also deeply involved in volunteer work and Young Life leadership, dedicating countless hours to mentoring and supporting others in our community. Whether it’s helping a friend in need, serving his community, or taking our grandmother to appointments, Alex is always the first person to step up.
After the accident, our family discovered an unexpected issue with the vehicle’s insurance coverage. Although we believed the vehicle had full coverage, we learned that collision coverage was not in place at the time of the accident. As a result, there will be no insurance funds available to help replace his vehicle.
Anyone who knows Alex knows that he is one of the kindest, most hardworking, and generous young men you could ever meet. He rarely asks for help and is usually the one helping everyone else.
We are hoping to raise $10,000 to help Alex secure reliable transportation so he can continue attending college, getting to work, serving his community, and helping our family.
If you are able to contribute, no amount is too small. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community would mean the world to us.
Most importantly, we are thankful that Alex is still here with us. Your support, prayers, and encouragement during this difficult time are deeply appreciated.
Thank you for helping Alex get back on the road and continue making a positive difference in the lives of so many others.
