Help A Dedicated Mom Stay On The Road

hello everyone, I am a single mom who is currently putting her son through college at SDSU. I also am working at a nonprofit organization where I help individuals with developmental disabilities get jobs and I have a small clothing business that I do pop-ups and in the community with that being said it sounds like I have a blessed and charmed life living in San Diego. It is quite expensive and also working with the organization that I work with I barely make it, I have basically been looking for another opportunity for months. I love my job, absolutely love with the work I do. But I have to make more money because the cost of living in San Diego is quite excessive and I’ve gone behind in my bills and also the Unfortunate thing has happened where my car has took it excessive damage meaning that it requires major repairs that cost more than what the car is worth which will cost over $3000 to repair and to sell my car. It’s only worth $800 if that and in the job that I do, I am required to drive and meet my clients and my organization has a program called care for all that only provides $1000 worth of help which my car trouble doesn’t qualify for that help and they only referred me to a program that we gives me four sessions of counseling, but they forget that the medical that they provide me already provides me counseling, which I do see my therapist and she says find another job which is easier said than done which I’ve been applying everywhere and been patient and getting turned down or been told to wait for a second interview and I’ve been going through this for the last six months so I can get a better way and I’ve been lucky to have a very nice property manager who allows me to pay her in payments and I’m behind in my rent and now I don’t have a car and also thankfully my son is able to pay for this round of school so I’m just asking for this amount of money to buy a reliable used car cause I don’t think I could afford a car payment making only 25.75 an hour and pay my rent , provide food and bare necessities for the home. I have reached out to all the appropriate resources out there like 211 and I’m on all the waitlist for assistance but any little bit could help and I would truly appreciate it once I’m back on my feet. I would get I pay it forward to the next person because I’m that type of person when I have it I will give it. It’s hard enough for me to put myself out there as is, but sometimes we just have to ask for a little grace and a little help from one another.
