We have ALL seen the devastating images, the shocking Travesty…..of the moment Mohammed received the news that his beloved wife Jumanna, and his 3 day old twins, had been martyred, whilst he stood holding their brand new birth certificates💔
What he experienced shellshocked the world.
Yet, this campaign is NOT about that. This campaign is a request for support and assistance for this human being, this Man who is still here, living in an Apocalyptic Nightmare….completely alone…9 months later😔
Mohammed has returned to the place he used to live, with his beloved wife. He lives in a tent alone.
As you can see, it is a hellscape.
For Mohammed, this place is haunted by memories, but it is his home. And he suffers from hunger, thirst and a desire to survive long enough to leave and go back to work at his office in Abu Daibe, where he is an accountant.
This is the only thing left.
Sometimes an absence of words can have a more profound meaning than speaking.
This is where Mohammed lives alone…without his beloved life partner, his wife, who was a shining light of beauty, intelligence, courage, integrity, helpfulness, kindness, honor, dignity and joy.
This is where Mohammed lives alone, without his beautiful, perfect newborn twins: Asser and Aysel.
This is where Mohammed lives alone, without his father, who is outside Palestine…receiving treatment for cancer.
Please. If ever there was a human being on this Earth, a person with the tenacity, the fortitude and strength….to survive the losses he has endured….to continue on…that deserves our love and support….it is certainly Mohammed.
Please, let’s feed him and support him and make sure that he has the ability to move forward and HEAL.
