Quick Support for Unexpected Legal Fees-
I am asking for your help during an unexpected and time sensitive legal situation involving my 15 year old daughter, Alexia. She is near the end of her freshman year, getting ready to enter her sophomore year in high school. She is focused on school, sports, friendships and building her independence like any teenager should be.
But right now, we've been pulled into a formal legal process to evaluate and modify our current parenting plan.
At this stage in her life, her voice matters. Making sure her voice is heard has come with a cost I wasn't prepared for. In the past, situations like this could be handled through court provided mediation. Unfortunately, the county our case resides in does not offer this service.
