My mother will be 85 in January and she lives in Washington state where it rains all the time. My oldest son is supposed to be taking care of her and making sure that she has wood to burn for the winter. This is not happening He's not bringing her enough dry wood so that she can stay warm hence my mother tells me all the time how cold she is.
I do not live in Washington I live in the state of California and I lost my job in September and have not been able to obtain employment since that time. I was hoping to go there for Christmas so that I can stack as much wood as I can for her to be able to stay warm.
I'm worried that my mother will freeze to death. Winter has not set in yet where the snow comes That's what I'm trying to prevent and get as much wood on her patio deck as I could in the two weeks that I would like to spend there.
I won't be able to have a Christmas for my grandkids because I really need to go see my mother I can make Christmas up to them but I can't make Christmas up to my mother if I lose her.
If I could possibly get any kind of help to be able to go to my mother's for 2 weeks it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God bless
