Hello everyone,
My name is Dominic Robinson, and I am reaching an exciting yet challenging milestone in my educational journey. I am an African-American student blessed with the opportunity to study Electrical Engineering at Loyola Marymount University. Thanks to my hard work and dedication, I secured a full-tuition scholarship, a testament to my commitment to education and a brighter future.
However, while my tuition is fully covered, the reality of my situation extends beyond tuition fees. As an Electrical Engineering major, my course load is incredibly demanding, leaving me with little to no time to work a job to cover my campus housing costs. This is a crucial part of my education, as living on campus is the only way I'd be able to
The financial strain is not just on me. I come from a supportive family, but with two siblings also in college, the financial burden on my family is significant. They have done everything in their power to support us, but there are limits to what can be managed. As much as they wish to help, they are unable to contribute financially to my campus housing expenses.
This is why I am seeking your kindness and support. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly towards my campus housing expenses, ensuring that I can continue my education without the added stress of financial instability. Your support means more than just keeping a roof over my head; it means directly supporting my aspirations of becoming an Electrical Engineer and designing devices that have a positive impact on the world.
I understand everyone has financial commitments, but if you can spare anything to help me stay in campus housing, it would mean the world to me. Your generosity can make a real difference in my life and future.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your support, encouragement, and sharing of my campaign are immensely appreciated.
With gratitude,
Dominic Robinson
