I have a good friend, To know her is to love her, who is a survivor of domestic and financial abuse. She had a domestic partner use her credit cards under her duress and rack up a life shattering amount of credit card debt. If she refused he would threaten to harm her and her home. Our friends even offered to help put bars on her windows at one point. She paid his rent at an apartment so he would leave without hurting her. He wrecked her car on the beach. Chased her to a police station once where  she filed a domestic complaint, but she needed three to qualify for a protection order. I want to get her a lawyer so this a hole SCAM artist doesn’t get away with this. I know that even though this POS won’t pay her back, hopefully the credit agencies can help a domestic abuse survivor by forgiving debt that is not hers. Please, let’s get a lawyer to try to help a woman not have her life destroyed. Thank you.
