Cash for Cash
Imagine getting the call that your 15-year-old son has been selected to play basketball on an elite team with much potential for college scholarships and beyond. Cash Bowen of Graham, Texas has been selected to play on the Urban DFW Elite Team. There will be 12 games starting March 17th thru the end of July. If you know his sweet mama, Lavena, she has never missed a game and desperately wants to attend the games out of town and out of state. Of course, the brothers want to be there too. Here is where we come in.... let's support this family and raise the funds to get them to all of the games. Lavena is a single mom and does a great job keeping these growing boys in sports and church. Cash needs his mom and brothers to be there and be a part of this amazing journey. Hotel rooms, plane tickets, and car rentals are necessary to transport and house them during these events. When Lavena told me about this opportunity for Cash, I couldn't help but ask "how will you fund this?" and with her sweet smile she says "God will make it happen."
