💛 Help Keegan's Family as they navigate letting go

Hi, my name is Amy Mann, and I'm fundraising for my 13-year-old friend, **Keegan's** family.

Help Support Keegan’s Family in Their Time of Need

Our beloved Keegan has been on a long and courageous journey, and she is now nearing the end of her earthly life. As family and friends, we are holding on tightly while also preparing ourselves for the hardest part—learning how to let go.

Through it all, Keegan has fought with unwavering faith and strength. She has run her race with grace, and she is ending this journey just as she lived it—strong, faithful, and inspiring to all who know her.

Now, her family is facing the heartbreaking reality of what comes after a tragedy like this. In addition to the emotional weight, there are financial burdens that no family should have to carry alone.

We are asking for your help—whether it’s through a donation, providing a meal, or covering them in prayer. Every act of love and support will make a difference as they navigate this painful season and learn how to say, “see you later.”

If you are able, please consider giving to help Keegan’s family in this time of deep need. Together, we can surround them with the love, strength, and care they so greatly deserve.

Anything helps—your prayers, your generosity, your presence. Thank you for standing with this family during one of the hardest moments of their lives.

As we prepare to lay our sweet Keegan to rest, her Mom and Dad have a heartfelt desire to honor her memory in a very special way. Mom’s wish is to give each of Keegan’s siblings, and a few others who were especially close, a Build-A-Bear with meaningful touches that will forever remind them of Keegan’s love and life.

If you’ve been to Build-A-Bear lately, you know these precious keepsakes can add up. Each one is about $35, and Mom (Beth) hopes to create 9 of them. That’s where we are asking for your help.

We would love to have this need met by Friday, so that these gifts can be given out on Saturday as Keegan is laid to rest. What a beautiful way for her family to hold a piece of her close forever.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Donate directly here and mark “Build-A-Bear”

  • Send through Venmo or Cash App (just message us for details)

  • Gift cards are also welcome

Every little bit makes a difference, and together we can help ease this family’s burden while giving them something so meaningful to hold onto.

Who can step in and help us make this special wish come true? 💜

Today, I sit again in the PICU in Children's Hospital. We were up here two months ago as well. However, we have not left the hospital since June 1, 2025. This journey has had many twists and turns. As we were preparing, yet again to try to go home, her organs once again started to shut down. This time, however, we have more news. CT with contrast now shows spots in her lungs and liver. God is still in control. The doctors have run out of resources. Yes, we have looked everywhere for anything that could help. Ultimately, God is still in control. God is still in the miracle making business. God's will is what I want for her life. I battle with her! I have left the hospital for approximately 7/8 hours total since June 1. I will not let her battle alone. Since there is not much medically they can do now, we are making sure she's comfortable. She wants to be as alert as possible to be present with us. We will continue to follow her wishes as we battle.

I hope this made sense, it has been a long week thus far. Not much sleep has happened around here. I love you all! Thank you for the prayers and continue to pray. Remember, God has this. He has her and He has us! He continues to bring peace where it is needed.

It's been a while since I last updated. A lot has occurred since then. After her last treatment on May 27, 2025, she had a bad reaction. Whenever you have a fever of 100.4, it requires an ER visit. Since she has a central line, they have to check for infection. The first time we went to the ER that week, we came home knowing there was no infection. Then on Sunday, June 1,2025, we went back to the ER. Her temp was 102.8. They admitted her because of the fever and other symptoms. There were a few times she was very sick and other times she seemed to improve.

On June 23,2025, we were making plans for her to go home on June 26 ,2025. On June 24, 2025, she wasn't feeling well. They decided we would not be leaving on June 26. The night of June 26, her breathing started being labored. She got up to use the restroom, and on the way back to bed she passed out into the bed. They called a Rapid Response, and she ended up in the PICU. She had suffered a multi organ failure. She is currently still in PICU. Currently, she is on continuous dialysis. They are hopefully going to remove the continuous and move to intermittent dialysis on Monday, July 7,2025.  Her lungs, heart, and liver are recovering well. The kidneys are not recovering as fast.

Overall. she is doing well. She has been in the hospital 35 days with no idea of when she will go home. She does not have insurance, and all charity care has run out. We know that God knows the need. We know that he will provide.

Specific prayer requests are for the manifestation of healing of all organs. Muscle strength and continued mental clarity. This has been hard on the entire family. prayers for all of us would be appreciated.

Thank you for all you guys do,

Beth

It's been a rough week. Keegan had her 3rd dose of her 2nd try at treatment on May 20. We took her to the ER 3 times with fever and other symptoms and the 3rd time has left her in the hospital. The 2nd time in the ER, the doctors wanted to keep her. However, she was scheduled for a PET scan the next day and it could not be done in patient. So, we went home. Within 2 days we were back to the ER with her. This time, she has not gone home. Two of the tumors have what they consider normal growth.  However, the 3rd one has grown 2.5 times in size. The doctors are looking everywhere for answers. We are going to look in to some clinical trials. All will require travel. But right now she's not stable enough to go home much less travel. I have been here by her side almost a week with no end date projected. My husband runs back and forth keeping the house functional while making sure we have clean clothes and the things we need. It's taking a physical toll on him. We still do not have insurance for Keegan. The financial toll is a BIG hit. Just the running back and forth has been a hit. However, we'll do whatever it takes. I would post pictures but Keegan is very swollen and in pain. She doesn't want me taking punctures of her.She is completely miserable. I'm tired and worn, but I will continue to fight and encourage her. Thank you fir the prayers and thoughts. Thank you to all who have donated and shared her story. I pray that my next update has better news.

Keegan is currently out of the hospital. However, the battle continues. Not only with the diagnosis but also with insurance.

After having 3 emergency room visits and 6 nights in the hospital, insurance would be greatly appreciated. I will continue to fight for reinstatement.

Keegan is still battling on. She's strong and will continue treatments as they are. We will be premedicating treatments to help with the side effects. Side effects are what put her in the hospital this last time.

Keegan, is thankful for everything everyone is doing. Please continue to pray and share this. Together we can move mountains.
