Hi, my name is Kiim. I’m an Army Veteran and someone who has always shown up for others — through my work, my community, and the spaces I create for healing.
Right now, I’m facing one of the hardest seasons of my life.
I am actively fighting two types of cancer.
I’ve chosen a healing path that aligns with my body — one that includes holistic care, specialized testing, IV treatments, and rebuilding my immune system from the inside out. While I do have insurance, it only covers part of my care. Many of the treatments, supplements, and specialists I need are not covered and must be paid out of pocket.
In the middle of this… something else happened.
On March 27, 2026, both my service animal, Onyx, and I were involved in an incident that left him injured.
Onyx is not just a dog — he is my service animal, my support system, my stability, and my protection. He has been by my side through everything, including this health battle. And now, he needs care too.
While my insurance helps with some of my medical expenses, it does not cover any of his veterinary care.
So at the same time I am fighting for my life… I am also fighting to make sure my service animal is healed, safe, and cared for.
This fundraiser will go toward:
• Holistic cancer treatments & specialized testing
• IV therapy and immune support
• Supplements and organic nutrition
• Travel to see specialists
• Medical costs not covered by insurance
• Veterinary care and recovery for my service animal, Onyx
I am used to being the one who gives, builds, and holds space for others.
Now, I’m asking for support.
