#HardyStrong: Supporting Nick Hardy’s Recovery

On September 27th, our dear friend, Nick Hardy, was involved in a tragic car accident. This devastating event has left Nick with severe injuries that require surgeries and is currently located in a rehab facility to help him on his long road to recovery. Nick and his family are facing unimaginable challenges, as they navigate through this difficult time.

To show our support, we are coming together as a friends, family, and IU students to raise funds for the Hardy family. We are selling #HardyStrong wristbands for $5 each, with all proceeds going directly to the family to help with any financial situations they may face.

Nick has always been a fighter and is so strong for keeping a smile on his face everyday through this time. Now it’s our turn to be strong with him and show our support.

By purchasing a wristband or making a donation, you can be a part of Nick’s journey and show the Nick and the Hardy family that they are not alone. Every bit of support makes a difference.

Thank you for your generosity and support.

We love you Nick, #HardyStrong!

We have raised over our goal of $6,800 in 48 hours!! So amazing!!

#HardyStrong Update from Anne Hardy:

"We are so happy to share that Nick was released from the incredible Shirley Ryan AbilityLab yesterday and is home! Nick will continue out patient therapy and undergo another surgery down the road.

Nick's IU friends had these wristbands made and from what we are hearing they are now being worn all over campus. The color blue represents Nick's love of water. He loves surfing, fishing, boating, and being at the beach.

We are so grateful for the outpouring love and prayers and the amazing medical professionals that have been a part of Nick's recovery. He is thriving and thanks everyone for the outpouring of love. Please keep us in your prayers as Nick works to make a full recovery!!"

Please keep sharing his story and the hashtag to your stories, friends, and family!! We still have so many wristbands for everyone!
