Reopen the Case Foundation strives to get answers for Virginia families whose loved ones have suddenly disappeared or suspicious deaths remain unsolved.
November 2, 2022 Cion Carroll, the child of a Richmond mother was last seen in Lunenburg County at his grandmother’s home. A few days later his phone pinged to the address of a tier III sex offender. The sex offender’s home was never search at the time the phone pinged, instead Virginia State Police removed the sex offender off the registry. Cion’s body was found dismembered November 11,2022 about two miles away from the sex offender’s home. During our investigation we learned about Kenyale Lee, who has been missing since 2021 and several more suspicious deaths.
We are in need of funds to further our investigation into these cases and raise awareness nationwide.
