We are on our way to KAFUE in June for a life-changing mission. We are thrilled to launch the Theo Smith World Ministries Leadership Institute (TSWMLI) in the City of Kafue. Dr. Smith had a heart for the Gospel and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit drove his lifelong dedication to making disciples for Jesus Christ.
NO ONE could convince Dr. Smith that he was not a disciple of Jesus living out the same reality of our forefathers in the gospel--of all that Jesus began to do and teach (Acts 1:1). If he could have had it his way, he would be ever present among the living Savior as Jesus, the son of man, walked the earth; However, God's timing is perfect. Dr. Smith accepted his time in the earth and spent much of his life training and edifying Christian leaders and was a global champion of the Gospel. From his days as a young pastor in Trinidad & Tobago and Brooklyn, New York until he taught as a seminary instructor in Florida until his passing, Dr. Smith lived out his dreams. He visited nearly 40 nations and sometimes spent months at a time planting churches and training church leaders.
The Institute's teams in the US & Zambia are excited to continue the work of equipping Christian Leaders. This is just our beginning and we hope that you will join us!
