For 29 years, I ran the Tanglewood Wellness Center, where I lived in a small apartment, took no salary, and worked very hard to help as many people as possible create amazing levels of health, working personally with more than 11,000 clients from 156 countries.

Our work was so successful that we stayed full nearly all the time without ever advertising.

And rather than trying to maximize profit, I always kept our rates as low as possible, operating more like a non-profit and using any net proceeds to begin creating a nature preserve in an amazing valley just a couple of miles from Tanglewood where the goals were to A) protect the land, B) give people amazing experiences of/in nature to help them begin to value the natural world much more deeply, and C) to create a place for like-minded people to create a community together.

Roughly 5 years ago, a 3-time client of mine invested in the land project, putting up roughly 20% of the funds invested to that point.  A few months after making the investment, she decided she did Not want to be involved in the project.  But her money had already been invested in multiple land contracts and had been used to build a 1km road into the project as well as to re-construct the roughly 3km main trail from the top of the property down to the bottom of the two highest waterfalls in Central America. There was no money to give her; and of course, even if there was, we had a valid contract that stated that we had 5 more years to provide her with a lot and a cottage and that returns would happen only once the project had reached a certain point.

She sued, and somehow -- likely by bribing officials -- won in court.  I was ordered to pay money I didn't have.  In order to raise it, I agreed to sell a 51% share in Tanglewood to a client.  He was selling another business and needed to pay me over time, and so it was going to take him a few years to pay me.  I offered to pay her the money I was ordered to in 4 installments over 2 years.  She refused.

And the real problem occurred because when I tried to help her.  Let me explain: She wanted to get residency in Costa Rica and was told that she needed to invest in a going concern, so I agreed to give her -- on paper only -- the majority of shares in Tanglewood so that she could qualify for residency.  She was going to sign them back to me when she got her residency, but of course, that never happened.  The court ordered her to give me back my stock when I had paid her back her money, but because she refused to accept my reasonable offer of repayment over two years, I never got my stock back.

In the end, I lost Tanglewood, which was my home, my vision, my passion project and much more.

And if that wasn't enough, two days after I lost the property, they allowed the public to come in and take whatever they wanted.  I literally lost every single thing I owned, including furniture, art work, computers, appliances, medical equipment, clothing, jewelry, personal affects...literally everything gone.

And then to add insult to injury, a few days later, these folks burned my beautiful center to the ground.

Everything was gone and my staff was left jobless.

At the same time, they hacked my payment processing account, our website, a company email account where valuable information was held, and more.  On February 15, I awoke to find that my Stripe account was US$400k negative as the result of the hackers refunding/attempting to refund hundreds of clients.

I had no money to pay my staff their last wages, to pay our suppliers, or to pay my own bills.

Fortunately, clients wanted to continue working with me remotely and so I have been able to pay most of my staff their last paycheck, and have been able to get something to some of our suppliers.

But I still have many more bills to pay, bills that I expected to be able to pay by continuing to run the business that has now been taken from me.  Please help me pay off the folks I need to pay, and help me generate the funds I need to hire the help I need to rebuild a business.

I've spent decades doing my best to help as many people as possible, offering lots of free content (a live broadcast nearly every week for more than 8 years) more than 1000 YouTube videos, and lots of free content on Facebook, Instagram, and more.

Now I'm asking you to help me, so that I can pay the folks who worked so hard what they deserve and can continue to help as many people as possible.

Thank you for your support.
