I am in the process of helping rebuild two programs.
The Men’s and Women’s Club Soccer teams at UCCS (approximately 60 athletes). They are a “for us, by us” entity run solely by the student athletes.
Both squads are in desperate needs of team equipment.
Soccer balls, training bibs, and training cones.
Right now they have barely enough equipment to share amongst the two teams.
Additionally, they have a heavy travel schedule in which they will need to charter transportation to Wyoming and New Mexico for conference games as well as their Colorado travel games.
These two teams are highly competitive and some of the players have aspirations of earning walk on spots to the Men’s and Women’s First teams.
As most of you know I am the Head Coach for the Men’s Club Team as well as the Strength Coach for the Men’s First Team.
The Teams will be creating commemorative t-shirts to wear as walk on shirts for their games listing the sponsors. They will send signed shirts and team pics to their sponsors as a very humble and grateful thank you for their support.
In the upcoming off season the two programs will be running extensive local fundraising evolutions to help ensure that the future players at the University will never have to feel the stress of having their programs unfunded.
I will be helping lead that charge and provide guidance on how to achieve these goals.
