Hello kind hearted folks! My name is Kenia. About a couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were visited daily by a stray kitten wanting food. He has an eye infection and has not had any vet check ups.
Unfortunately, his other sibling was found deceased and his mother abandoned him so we took him in. We were going to take him to the humane society, but they said under law since he had been with us for over 7 days he was now considered our pet and would be considered being "relinquished" and we would not know of any outcome for him. We have grown very fond of him and he has now built a strong attachment to us.
We decided to help rescue him ourselves but I am the only employed person in our home, and we cannot afford the vet bills. I wanted to ask my community for support to help save him so we can avoid relinquishing him. Any dollar can make a huge difference to get him exams, proper eye medication, vaccinations and nutering.

Thank to you all so far - we have been able to get him tested (no worms and all healthy!), and his eyes are now much better looking. We were also able to get him probiotics and metronidazole for his upset stomach. Once he has normal stool they will be able to give him his shots, and neutered once he hits his 5 month mark. He is such a happy kitty. You have all made this possible so far 🫂😭💛
