I am running my first marathon in Buffalo on May 24th this year! I am asking for donations in support of Kevin Guest House.
Kevin Guest House is a wonderful, non profit organization that provides a comfortable and supportive home away from home for patients and their families.
Many of my patients and their families at Roswell stay here after their bone marrow transplants and oncology care-sometimes for weeks or months at a time- until they are well enough to go home. Long term stays away from home can get very expensive, so this fundraiser will help provide funding for those families who can’t cover that extra cost. Having a medical crisis is hard enough, patients and their families shouldn’t have to worry about affording a safe, comfortable place to stay.
Kevin Guest house is not federally funded, so any donation is greatly appreciated as 100% of these proceeds will go towards KGH! I can’t wait to run 26.2 miles to support such an incredible organization!!
