Hi!! My name is McKynlee and I am raising money for the Miss America Foundation! At the age of 17 I decided to compete in a Miss America local pageant for fun, I fell in love and got bit by the pageant bug! People ask me why I compete in pageants and my main reason is sisterhood. You usually would think that the girl I am competing against would also not be the girl who I'm cheering on and hoping she would win even if it means I would "lose". But here's the thing even if you don't walk away with the crown you still walk away with so much. Scholarships, best friends for life, great interview skills and so much more!
