Plunging for a Purpose – Help Western NC Recover from Hurricane Helene
Hurricane Helene may be out of the headlines, but Western North Carolina is still struggling. Homes are still damaged, roads remain impassable, and families are trying to rebuild with limited resources. While the rest of the world moves on, the need for support is greater than ever.
That’s why this Saturday, I’m taking the Polar Plunge at Lake Hickory Country Club—to raise funds for the North Carolina Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund, which is providing direct aid to families and communities still recovering.
π 100% of donations go to those in need. Every dollar helps.
π Where: Lake Hickory Country Club
π When: Saturday, March 1, 11:00 AM

I recently joined First Presbyterian in Hickory in Swannanoa to assist with recovery efforts. What I saw was overwhelming—entire neighborhoods still in need of help, and many people still waiting for resources. Western NC needs us, and we can’t forget them.
π¦ Help me make this plunge count! Donate today and share this page.
Together, we can help rebuild. π
