Parvo. If you’re a dog lover like me, that’s a word we have all heard before, but I never knew how truly Evil it was. I am the proud lucky owner of 9 beautiful amazing dogs, and they are my whole entire world ❤️ Recently 3 of them (so far) have been infected with Parvo, and they have gone from being full of life to barley moving in under 48 hours. Constant vomiting, shallow breathing, bloody stool, zero appetite, fever, and confusion…it is the most heartbreaking thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life. There is no exact cure for Parvo, and for that reason it is extremely expensive to treat, upwards of $7,000 per dog. It is an extremely resilient virus that can live for years just waiting for your pup to take the wrong step or smell the wrong piece of grass. It has a very high mortality rate and is highly highly contagious. I pray with every ounce of my being that they make it through the night, but even if they do it is a long uphill battle. They are the best dogs in the entire world (apart from yours of course) and deserve to live a full life filled with love and happiness. So please, I beg you, even if you can only spare a single dollar, help me save them. I know all dogs go to heaven, but with your help that day doesn’t have to be today…God bless all of you, your homes, your families, and all your beautiful fur-babies ❤️
