Dear Family, Friends, and Animal Lovers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts and an urgent plea for help. Ghost, Josh and Jen's, beloved silver lab, has suddenly fallen critically ill and is fighting for his life. At less than 2 years of age, Ghost has been diagnosed with Pyothorax which has also lead to Sepsis, and Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome- a devastating and life-threatening combination. Right now, he is in urgent need of intensive veterinary care, including emergency treatments, hospitalization, and life saving interventions.
Ghost's Condition and Why We Need Your Help
Pyothrax is a severe infection in the chest cavity, causing dangerous fluid buildup around the lungs and heart. Combined with sepsis and SIRS, Ghost's body is in critical distress and without aggressive treatment they will lose him.
The cost of intensive care, emergency procedures, antibiotics, drainage, and hospitalization is overwhelming. Josh and Jen are doing everything possible to save Ghost, but the financial burden is immense.
Roughly two years ago they were faced with a similar situation suddenly losing their 5 year old dog to end stage cancer. The emotional toll this has taken on them is more than anyone should have to bare. Josh and Jen are always among the first to lend a helping hand, yet they would never ask for help themselves. That's why we are reaching out for any support you can provide their family with, when they need it most.

Anyone who has met Ghost knows how special he is- full of love, lots of energy, and so much joy. He means the world to Josh and Jen's family, and we refuse to give up on him.
