Hi, my name is Matthew and I’m a dad from Northampton, PA. I’m asking for help to keep my son, Matthew, in the karate program he loves.
After 3 long years of hard work, my son Matthew finally earned his black belt this year and became a senpai at his dojo. He shows up to every class, helps the younger kids, and his dream is to keep training to earn his next badges and stars for his uniform.
Right now, I’m struggling to make that happen.
After a separation from Matthew’s mom, I was left with a lot of debt that wasn’t mine. With bills stacking up, I’ve fallen behind on his karate tuition. I owe the dojo several hundred dollars. I’ve been making $20 good faith payments just to buy him time so he could test for his black belt. He made it. But now I can’t keep up, and I’m terrified he’ll have to quit.
What we need: $400
This will cover:
- $250 to catch up on past-due tuition so he isn’t removed from class
- $150 to cover the next 2 months of classes while I get back on my feet
