Hi! My name is Baylee, and in 2028 I'll have the incredible opportunity to travel to Costa Rica with my school. By then, I'll be 18 years old, and this will be my very first time leaving the United States. I'm beyond excited for the chance to experience a new culture, explore one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, and learn through hands-on experiences that simply can't be recreated in a classroom.
I've always loved being outdoors. Whether I'm hiking, chasing waterfalls, exploring nature, or spending time with friends, I enjoy every opportunity to learn and grow through new experiences. Costa Rica has been a dream destination because of its beautiful rainforests, incredible wildlife, and commitment to environmental conservation.
I stay actively involved in my school and community. I'm currently:

A competitor in Envirothon
A member of Math Team
A participant in the Olympias Leadership Institute
The first student selected to attend the Maine Youth Leadership Conference in 2026
An attendee of the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Massachusetts during my freshman year
Giving back to my school and community has always been important to me, and I strive to take advantage of every opportunity to learn, lead, and make a positive impact.
