Meet Doofus, a.k.a Doofy, this is my baby boy. He's a 7 year old staffy/pittie mix that I found on the streets as a pup. I wish I could say bringing him home was my idea, but he hopped in the passenger seat before I could even try to call him.
Doofy got sick earlier this year in late June. He was diagnosed with a uti and we started on meds in the beginning of July and after getting better, he got worse really quick. A second vet consult and scary test later, he's been diagnosed with canine lymphoma.
Unfortunately, this isn't curable yet and I have maybe less, maybe a little more with treatment, than 6 months to 2 years with him.
I know everyone is struggling right now, but any little bit would be appreciated as treatment averages about $5,000-8,000. Any proceeds will go towards his treatment, making him comfy, crossing things off his doggy bucket list and preservation/cremation once he is gone.
