Life often throws unexpected challenges, and when they do, it can feel like the ground has shifted beneath us. For 17 years, I've devoted myself to my work, only to face an abrupt end with no clear reason why. At 61, I'm trying to navigate this turbulent time without a safety net, grappling with a new diabetes diagnosis, and the heartache of humanely dispatching my beloved dogs of 8 and 15 years. Despite the hardships I have endured, I try to continue to embody generosity, having selflessly helped others in their times of need. From buying food for the homeless to ensuring a warm Christmas for little ones, I believe my kindness has left a lasting impact on many lives. It is that same spirit of giving that I now hope to reflect back to you. This current struggle is a testament to how quickly life can change. The unexpected job loss and financial strain have made it difficult to see a clear path forward. Yet, with help, there is hope. Paying off my debts can open the door to stability, allowing me to focus on new opportunities and manage whatever work comes your way. Hopefully, my story is a reminder of resilience and the power of community. Every donation, no matter the size, will go towards lifting the financial burden off these shoulders, offering the chance to rebuild and find peace in knowing that I can move forward. Please consider contributing to this mission of support and renewal. Your kindness will help someone who has given so much to others to finally receive the aid they deserve. Thank you for your compassion and generosity in turning adversity into a new beginning.
The brown one, Bookie, I had from a puppy. The little guy, Milo, was a rescue dog, about 8 years old when I got him. Someone left him at the vet after his eye was bulging out of its socket. They never came and got him and he was on limited time., so I gave him the home and love he deserved. I sure do miss my best friends. They were all I had, helping me through a divorce and other obstacles tha came along. Now, I am alone.
