Recently, life took an unexpected turn when one of the hardest-working people I know— one of my best friends—suffered a sudden stroke. He is a fighter and a dedicated family man, but the road to recovery is a marathon, not a sprint. While he focuses entirely on healing and getting back on his feet, he will be away from work for the foreseeable future. We all know that while life may pause for a health crisis, medical bills and daily expenses do not. I am starting this fundraiser as a surprise for him and his family to ensure they have a cushion of support during the months ahead. I have set a goal of 10000 to start, We aren't looking for a "right this second" fix, but rather a community of support they can lean on as they navigate this transition.
