My Dad has been fighting cancer for a year now. The doctors give him a very high success rating, if he can finish the treatments this year. We have defeated the cancer in his lymph nodes, liver, and kidney. It only remains in his lungs snd right femur, we are so close! Unfortunately, the tumor in the right femur has caused his right hip to completely fracture, requiring a full hip replacement now. Since he is now bedridden and can not walk, our expenses have skyrocketed.
We have exhausted his personal savings, spending over $55,000 in Jan/Feb and nearly all of his work benefits. I am selling his assets and will still fall short of the amount needed to finish everything. We are asking for your help to finish his treatments, and restore him to good health.
The remaining tumors are shrinking (about 40% reduction) so we have good signs!!
There are 8 of us kids and we are asking you to help us keep our Dad. He is too precious to give up!
Dad retired from 20 years of Naval service in July of 1999, as an EMCS/SS/DV. He served on 4 submarines, in order: Casimir Pulaski, SSBN633 blue crew, the USS John Adams, SSBN620 Gold crew, the USS Barb, SSN 596, and his favorite USS Norfolk, SSN714. He still keeps all 8 of us, and now his grandkids laughing with his sea stories.
All monies will go for treatments and hospital related costs. Thank you!!
