Hi there!
My name is Jenna Hale, and I have dreamed of writing books since my elementary school years. Today, I am so excited to share that I have written my first children's book!
I am nearing the end of the editing process and am working with a talented illustrator, James Eskridge, for the illustrations. (I cannot wait for you to see the artwork he creates for this book!) I believe in this book with my whole heart, that it will be a source of healing and encouragement for all who read it. It will make you laugh, possibly make you cry, and hopefully awaken creativity in your own life.
This project is the largest I’ve ever taken on and I am looking for your support to help me publish my book as well as commission the beautiful and delightful artwork of James Eskridge for the illustrations. If this project speaks to your heart, I'd love for you to be part of making it a reality!
THE GOAL
My goal is to fully fund the illustration costs of $16,000
by May 15, 2025.

Below you will find a breakdown of our goals and the updates when they are fully funded, as well as our reward tiers. You are welcome to choose one of the tiers listed or you may choose your sponsorship amount. We're working towards our $16,000 goal by May 15th - every bit helps bring this dream to life! (Contributions that surpass our $16,000 goal will go towards printing, marketing, publication of the book, and any additional costs.)

I am married to the amazing Matt Hale and together we have three wonderful kids. I have always loved creative writing and believed that some day I would write books. How exciting to have stepped into my someday! I love spending time with my family and friends, reading great books, coffee shops, soccer, creating wonderful things with others, and my Jesus.
ILLUSTRATOR | JAMES ESKRIDGE
James is an accomplished multimedia artist based in SoCal. For as long as he can remember, he has been an artist, always carrying a sketchbook and drawing everything he sees. He believes that art has power, and it is up to us to use that power to bring light into the world.
(A note from Jenna: you will LOVE James's art in this book! He is a delight to work with, extremely talented, and the creative details in his artwork is simply put, FUN! Run, don't walk, to check out his work for yourself!)

Ellen is a deep well of creativity, insight, and talent. She somehow made me fall in love with the editing process, has been a constant source of encouragement and wisdom, and kept me on course. It has been a joy and delight to work with her and I know this book would not be what it is without her.
FINAL THOUGHTS
My hope is to create a book that is beautiful: beautiful words, beautiful illustrations, and beautiful message.
