The Family of Maryam and Fayez
I am Maryam, and my husband is Fayez. I am currently pregnant, and we have two children: Taym (5 years old) and Sanad (3 years old). We are living in Al-Mawasi after being displaced and forced to flee our home; we have been displaced about 12 times. Each time, the pain and suffering are renewed amidst a war of starvation and genocide, under extremely difficult conditions and a lack of resources. We lack even our most basic rightsโfood, drink, and even clean water are unavailable. We have to pay for everything here. I apologize for speaking to you during such difficult times. We have no choice but to turn to you for help and appeal to your hearts so that we may survive and secure the most basic rights for our children, Taym and Sanad. They are children who simply wish to live like othersโto play, attend kindergarten, and enjoy their childhoods, creating beautiful memories to cherish. Yet, this cursed war has stripped them of everything. They have grown up amidst the sounds of bombardment and destruction, lost their beloved grandfather and uncle, and even lost their playroom. We have left every dream and hope behind; all that remains is the pain and anguish we carry with us.I, too, am pregnant and in need of healthcare, medication, and nutritional supplements to carry my pregnancy to term amidst these circumstances and the soaring prices here in war-torn Gaza.
Be our hope for life; we are striving to survive for the sake of our little ones, and we need your support.
The war rages on, and the enemy has not ceased its attacks. Even if we survive the fighting, we still face hunger, deprivation, pain, and so much more.๐ซ๐ฅ๐ข๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ
