On the corner, a homeless person holds a ragged cardboard sign. Doubt creeps in. If you give them money, what will they do with it? How can we be sure that what we give will help?
This is the purpose of The Umbrella Women, a small group that has set out to show God’s love simply, effectively, and contagiously.
So when the question was asked, what can you do for that person on the corner? What is it that they need? What simple thing can we provide that will help, that will protect, that will comfort?
