I’m currently a student at Fresno State, and I’m facing an unexpected financial situation that could prevent me from continuing my education and participating in a study abroad program connected to my degree.
When I committed to this program, I didn’t fully understand the full financial structure and timeline, and since then I’ve had unexpected expenses that made it difficult to keep up with the payments.
As a result, I now have a balance that needs to be paid to avoid a hold on my account, which would prevent me from registering for classes this fall.
In total, I’m working to raise about $3,100 to cover my remaining school balance, passport, and flight costs. The most urgent portion is $1,640, which I need in order to stay enrolled.
I’ve already paid $1,280 toward this opportunity and received a $1,000 hardship scholarship, but I’m still short due to circumstances I didn’t fully anticipate.
This experience means a lot to me academically and personally, and I’m doing everything I can to stay on track.
If you’re able to support or even share this, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you so much.
