Support Dad's Recovery: Brain Surgery & Beyond

Our family is facing a challenge we never saw coming.

My father was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, completely unexpectedly. What started as small symptoms quickly turned into a medical emergency, and he had to undergo emergency brain surgery to remove the tumor.

Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and we are beyond grateful for that blessing. However, his road to recovery is only beginning. He will need time to heal, attend multiple follow-up appointments, and may require ongoing monitoring. His doctors have made it clear that he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future—possibly several months—until he is fully healed and medically cleared to return.

As if this wasn't already enough to process, we received another heartbreaking blow: my dad was laid off from the company he had been working for without any notice and his health insurance ended immediately. Our family is still trying to process everything happening all at once.

We created this GoFundMe to help my parents get through this incredibly difficult season. Any support will help ease some of the financial pressure while my dad focuses on recovering.

Funds will go toward:

• Doctor visits, follow-up care, and additional medical needs

• Prescription medications

• Everyday expenses such as groceries, household bills, and necessities

My parents have always been the people who show up for others, lend a helping hand, and put family first. Now, it’s our turn to rally around them and help carry them through this difficult time.
