My name is Chrissy Bradford and the night of April 2, 2025 my parents Linda And Bill Bradford had a housefire that originated in the kitchen. The house is not a total loss however they did not have homeowners insurance since last April due to my mom being in the hospital for six weeks after having complications after a total hip replacement surgery. They both are on Social Security. The kitchen pantry and master bathroom are gone. I’m asking for help on their behalf to repair the damage. They live in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and I live in Munford Tennessee. I was on the phone with my daddy because they were watching the Memphis area weather on TV and he called me to check and make sure I was OK due to having multiple tornado warnings. He was talking to me and trying to calm me While I was having a panic, attack and anxiety. While he was on the phone with me he completely forgot about the pot of grease on the stove that he was heating up to cook my mom, french fries as he does on a nightly basis, he was on the phone with me 13 minutes when he remembered the stove. He gave the phone to my mom to talk to me and when he got to the kitchen it was fully engulfed in flames.
they can’t stay in the house as the fire department had the power cut off and water cut off. Inspectors have to come out to check what wires and pipes if any are damaged. I just need to get them some kind of help.
