Hello, my name is Kelly Kistler, and I’ve spent my life serving others—through disaster relief, community outreach, and now, food delivery. Whether helping families rebuild after Hurricane Harvey through a number of city, state and federal disaster projects and contracts over a 7 year span, serving senior citizens in their homes with personalized needs, or bringing my personal touch while delivering meals to your door with a consistent smile since December of 2023, my heart has always been rooted in service.

Today, I find myself in a season of deep need. My senior parents are my greatest blessings, and my mother was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease with other underlying and critically serious health conditions that already existed. I am being proactive by doing everything I can to educate myself on this disease so I will be able to provide whatever necessary support to them while I am also working jobs to take care of myself—including a new role with Lincoln Heritage https://funeraladvantage.com/.

However, I’m still behind on rent and bills. The risk of eviction is real and immediate, and the weight of financial instability is heavy. Additionally, it will likely take 3 or 4 months to obtain my license then begin gerating a solid, financially stable salary and commission that will lend itself to continues serving others with compassion and care, while assisting with important final expenses planning. This is very exciting to look forward to helping others walk through these sometimes uncomfortable decsions.  I am also eager to have the support of kind donors walking with me and observing my success to get back on my feet.

I’ve given back in every way I know how. Now, I’m humbly asking for help to stay afloat, remain in my safe and comfortable apartment that I have resided for the last 8 years, and continue serving with dignity. Your support will go directly toward housing stability, basic needs, and—God willing—a chance to give my parents the gift of joy and rest.

I've had some ask me why don't you share to social media?  I guess I am having a hard time with being so transparent with the people who know me best as it relates to this hardship.  I don't want to make them worry or speculate what kind of situation I have found myself in.  It's time to move forward, reset and conquer the unknown with hope and courage!

Maybe in the near future I can open up about my decision to reach out to strangers for help, even though some of them will be my food delivery customers. I guess it feels safer and less overwhelming. Some maycall it pride. I don't argue that at all. Yes, it is humbling, especially at my age to open up in this way. So................

This campaign is a quiet, respectful invitation to those who feel moved to help. Whether through a donation, a prayer,  or simply sharing this page, your kindness means more than I can express. I believe in the power of faith, community, and resilience — and I’m grateful for every hand that helps me rise again.

If you’ve ever appreciated a warm delivery from me, a kind word, or the quiet strength of someone who shows up no matter what, I invite you to be part of my story. Every prayer, share, and donation is a blessing.

Thank you for believing in grace and in second chances

Thank you for reading my story.

Thank you for seeing me.

With love and gratitude,

Kelly
