Hey there folks. Really hope you're not tired of me asking for help, because, whew, do we need it! For those who don't know, I'm Jesse, a kinda sorta popular multimedia artist who is currently unhoused. I'm disabled, cannot walk or stand very far at all, and I'm trying to get transportation for my family.
Right before we were illegally evicted last month (trust me I'm trying to get a lawyer but it's a very long process) our car died and both insurances refused to pay to fix it. It was more or less brand new when I got it a few years ago, and I put so much time and money into it then. But now we need a replacement.
My family now is all fully employed (a big change from just a week ago) but commuting to their jobs is taking way more time, energy, and money than we have to spend. As you know, cars and houses tske pretty big down payments, especially for one that won't break down on you. If you can spare a couple dollars I would adore it if you could contribute.
